![]() Zephyr Bots or ZBots are software agents that are installed on local or remote machines where you typically run your automation scripts. These ZBots communicate with the Zephyr Server and wait for commands to kickoff automation scripts on that machine. These automation scripts can be written in any commercial, open-source or homegrown automation tool. When ZBots are successfully installed and are running on a machine, that machine shows up in the Testcase Execution application (in Lead and Tester Desktops) and the user can pick that as a target machine on which to kickoff an automation script. Assumptions: 1. The automation script can be kicked off from the command line 2. The automation script and the tool/engine/framework it runs in are both installed/available on the remote machine 3. One script can be executed at a time. If you have a bunch of scripts (a suite, test set or a group), you can kick that off by changing the Path field in the Testcase Execution application 4. The ZBot does not wait for your automation script to complete execution as it may take a long time ZBots are available for different operating systems:
